CLEANING CAMPAIGN

On the 09th November 2018, IDM Staff, in conjunction with pupils embarked on a first initiative that was mandated to kick-start  the campus cleaning programme aimed at taking full responsibility of maintaining a clean environment that is conjusive for leaning.
Dr. Retselisitsoe E Nko as he addressed the students mentioned that all need to take full responsibility in maintaining hygiene and tidiness with in the IDM boundaries and beyond.

District Programmes Promotion- Qachas

In our intensions to promote IDM services to the masses, IDM embarked on a course Promoting and Sensitization journey to Qacha’s neck.

This came after our consistent communication with a group of public and private sector personnel whom we had been engaging with regarding their interest to become enrolled at IDM.

Programme Presentations were made to the group by the offices of Marketing, Student Administration and the Registrar.

Mr. and Miss IDM Eswatini Campus 2018/19

The very first Mr. and Miss IDM beauty pageant was hosted by the pagaent organising committee in collaboration with the SRC in 2018.

The event was sponsored by Dixies, Ambitious investments and IDM.

Breast and Prostate Cancer Celebration Day Event

The month of October is general marked as a Cancer Awareness Month.  IDM embarked on an advocacy activity that aimed at sensitizing the public about dangers associated with the spread of the disease. Guests from the Ministry of HEALTH, EGPAF as well as the office of THE FIRST LADY were available to shed advice of preventable measures that one may take to avoid the disease.

Building of IDM Risk Profile

IDM Occupational Health and Safety Students embarked on a campus and office tour to identify hazards and risks within the IDM vicinity.

The excercise was mandated to build the IDM Risk Profile, which will then become substantial to the institution, as it is a pressing obligation and requirement for every institution to perform risk assements and building risk profiles.

Moreover, the said exciercise also served as a practical tool that equips students with technical knowledge, skills and abilities of how to betterly maintain safety and security in an organization.

IDM sponsors BNSC award

Institute of Development Management (IDM) has announced sponsorship partnership with Botswana National Sports Commission (BSNC) for this year’s (2018) Awards.
IDM, which prides itself as dedicated to growing great minds and building a generation of leaders for the future, announced different sponsorship packages to those who will be winners on the night.

IDM is committed to achievement of Human Social Development

Institute of Development Management (IDM) has been applauded for its support of Botswana’s Vision 2036 and Sustainable Development Goals. Speaking at the official handover of the Mantshwabisi Primary School Computer Lab, the Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Hon Botlogile Tshireletso said her Ministry, through the Department of Community Development recognises IDM as a strategic partner in development.

Students visit IDM to attend the Eswatini International Career Fair

Over 2000 learners visited the IDM Kwaluseni campus for the Eswatini International Expo which saw to over 30 colleges and companies showcasing their products to students eager to find a tertiary institution to apply to in 2019. This event is hosted annually by Utech college. It lasts for a week and covers all regions of the country. Form 5 students from the Lowveld areas of the country attend the Big Bend version of the event which is hosted at the Utech sports grounds.
