Business and Information Resource Management

Business and Information Resources Management (BIRM) is one of the four IDM Disciplines. Being the largest discipline, it houses a wide variety of programmes in the areas of Accounting and Finance, Project Management, Records and Archives Management, Procurement, Logistics and Supply, Information Technology, Business Administration, Travel and Tourism, Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Programme offerings under this discipline ranges from Certificate through to Masters Level. Most of the programmes offered under this discipline are indigenous, whilst a few are franchised from IDM’s international partners such as Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT), Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS), National Computing Center (NCC) and the University of Bolton, both from the United Kingdom. All the programmes comply with and respond to the National Human Resource Development Strategy.
