IDM Partakes in national building dialogue and reforms

In a an effort to resuscitate nation building issues through Multi Stakeholders National dialogues  and reforms for national transformation, IDM was given an opportunity to deliberate how the education sector, more particularly at tertiary level has an impact to contribute through capacity building and skills transfer and development.
The session was facilitated by Lesotho Council of NGOs(LCN) hosted at IDM premises for Members of Senate and principal Chiefs.

Short Course Training in Result based Management and Leadership Skills Training- Minet Staff

IDM Has recently completed a short course training in Result Based Management and Leadership Training for MINET management staff.
Through the short course, attendees are equipped with skills ability to design, implement, monitor and evaluate projects.
This course is designed for Planners, economic modelers and Managers and it lasted  three(3) days.

As the world celebrates World Environment Day today on the 5th June 2019, IDM continues to advocate for a clean environment that is conducive for livelihood both on and off Land as also supported by Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs).
A clean environment is a key Developmental factor of any society, IDM continues to promote initiatives that are in alignment with best practices that protect the environment as they also form part of its key Values.

World Copyright Day Celebrated through donating books by IDM

IDM celebrates World and Copyright Day through donating books to Life High School students.
 
The purpose of the occasion was to promote books, authors and the art of reading.
Representatives from UNESCO and Lesotho Library Association also attended the event as gesture of support to the occasion.

IDM Lesotho particiapates in the 4th Annual Intercampus games

Over 100 Students from Lesotho as well as Staff members  travelled to the kingdom of Eswatini to join counterparts Botswana and Eswatini to partake in the intercampus games.
The annual auspicious event kicked started on a high note on Monday the 26th March 2019 under the catch phrase “TWE” ( Siswati Phrase signalling the start of a race).

Mr and Miss IDM Lesotho Beauty Contest celebrated with a fusion of Basotho Culture

On the Friday 15th March 2019, IDM Lesotho hosted its Mr and Mrs IDM beauty Pageant which also consisted of a cultural theme to commemorate the Month of March, The Month of Moshoeshoe, Founder of the Basotho nation.
The initiate which was successfully organized by the Student Representative Committee (SRC) in conjunction with The student welfare unit gained support by other SRC members from local institutions such as Botho University, Centre for Accounting Studies and Lerotholi Polytechnic just to mention but a few.

The 6th Annual Council of Higher Education (CHE) FAIR

The Institute of Development Management(IDM) participated in the 6th  annual Career Fair organized by The council of higher Learning(CHE) held at Manthabiseng Convention Center Maseru Lesotho.
The Career Fair is an annual event that is facilitated in partnership with Colleges and local Universities.

IDM becomes part of the 10th Career Fair Road Show Expo

The Career Expo’s mandated was to expose high school learners to offerings available to a host of local tertiary institutions that are available in Lesotho so that as learners leave High School, they are in a better state to make informed decisions that relate to their various careers.

Health and Wellness Day Celebration

IDM in collaboration with EGPAF Lesotho celebrated a Health and Wellness day event held at IDM premises today.
The motive behind this ground-breaking event was to sensitize the IDM community (Staff and Students) on health related issues and to conscientious them in taking responsibility of their wellbeing.
