Institute of Development Management (IDM) has announced sponsorship partnership with Botswana National Sports Commission (BSNC) for this year’s (2018) Awards.
IDM, which prides itself as dedicated to growing great minds and building a generation of leaders for the future, announced different sponsorship packages to those who will be winners on the night.

Institute of Development Management (IDM) has been applauded for its support of Botswana’s Vision 2036 and Sustainable Development Goals. Speaking at the official handover of the Mantshwabisi Primary School Computer Lab, the Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Hon Botlogile Tshireletso said her Ministry, through the Department of Community Development recognises IDM as a strategic partner in development.
Over 2000 learners visited the IDM Kwaluseni campus for the Eswatini International Expo which saw to over 30 colleges and companies showcasing their products to students eager to find a tertiary institution to apply to in 2019. This event is hosted annually by Utech college. It lasts for a week and covers all regions of the country. Form 5 students from the Lowveld areas of the country attend the Big Bend version of the event which is hosted at the Utech sports grounds.

Comprising of academics representing the academic diversity and some members of the Student Representative Council of the Institute from Botswana, Lesotho and Eswatini, the Council is the principal policy-making and advisory body on all IDM’s academic matters.
The much-awaited relocation of the Institute of Development Management (IDM) Francistown campus will take place in July this year. The campus is currently located at the Light Industrial Area and will be moving to Botho Park in Block 10.
Mind Liberation Psychology Consultancy and Forum for Career Awareness Association organized a four day Career Expo from Tuesday 03 April to Friday 06 2017, in the four districts of Lesotho. The aim of the expo was to provide career guidance to high school students to enable them to make informed decisions when choosing their careers in the future. It commenced in Mokhotlong, followed by Leribe, then Mohale’shoek and ended Maseru.
IDM’s Information Technology Manager, Jimmy Kwati says public service in Botswana plays an important role in the lives of Batswana. Speaking at the Southern District Council Inaugural Awards Ceremony recently, Kwati commended the Council for recognizing its Service Stars for going the extra mile in service delivery to its customers.
Held under the theme, Nurturing Champions Towards Quality Service Delivery, the awards recognized creativity, innovation and excellence. Kwati said without employees, no organization can achieve its core mandate of dispensing services.
IDM signed an MOU with Namibia Business School (NBS) to offer the MBA and DBA programmes. This MOU is an extension from the first one which was signed in 2014. The agreement now includes all three IDM campuses whereby the MBA and DBA will be offered.
