Public Health department signs agreements with 2 Ministries

IDM has signed two Mou’s in December 2022 which will be operational in the coming new year. These agreements fall under the Public Health Management department at IDM Eswatini. The first was with the Ministry of Agriculture which will be
 for the usage of labs for research and development purposes. The Ministry mentioned that it currently has 2 labs one for food safety and the other for food technology. PS Sydney Simelane said there was need for quality control as we do not want to experiment with people’s lives.
 
The second Mou was with the Ministry of Labour and Social Security which will see to the development of short courses as well as long ones in the Occupational Safety and Health field as well as Wellness. In the agreement our students will also get to experience site inspections done regionally by this unit of the Ministry. We congratulate the PHM department for yet another milestone.
