Minister’s visit to campus

Monday, March 1, 2021 - 14:15

IDM Eswatini  recently hosted  the Acting  Honourable Minister of Public Service Moses Vilakati where he met with staff members and management. He was accompanied by the Ministry of Public Service PS Tsabedze who also serves as board member at IDM.
He mourned the loss of the former Minister Christian  Ntshangase who was passionate about the Institute and its role to upskill and educate bridging the gap for in-service and pre service students.
He described the late minister as courageous and a determined somebody who had a lot in mind for the benefit of IDM and the country at large.
Minister Vilakati’s trip was a fact finding mission to appreciate and understand the institute as he had been doing with other organisations over the last few weeks.

“We thank the forefathers who founded the institution King Sobhuza 11; Sir Seretse Khama of Botswana and King Moshoeshoe 11 of Lesotho who deemed it necessary to create the
Institution; we need to reflect and ensure we now take the institution to even greater heights. Institutions like this one should form and shape what we want tomorrow to look like for the nation of Eswatini.”
