Monday, January 29, 2024 - 08:30

IDM Eswatini took part in the commemoration of International Customs day held at the Eswatini Revenue Service offices in Ezulwini on Friday. Representing IDM was Sibusiso Msibi a consultant in the Business Development Unit. The Institute of Development Management (IDM) was established in 1974 as a Regional Management Development Institution under the leadership of three Governments; Botswana, Lesotho and Eswatini. IDM’s relevance in the regulation of cross border trade is through capacity building, through the provision of short-term and long-term training programmes and by extension, research and consultancy. Hence, the ERS and IDM developed and launched two learning programmes: (1) Certificate in Freight Forwarding and Customs Compliance (18 months), and (2) Beginners Tax Certificate Programme (3 months). There are now 24 Graduates of the Freight Forwarding and Customs Compliance, and 8 Graduates of the Beginners Tax Programme who completed their studies in the year 2023. Applications for both programmes are still opened for January 2024. Contact us for more details.
