Managers are often called upon to formally speak to an audience as part of their duties. They may be required to brief management or visitors on an on-going project, or defend a project that they are proposing for the organization; talk to a group of newly-recruited personnel on what is expected of them, or give a dinner speech, etc. All these situations call for certain specific skills and techniques on the part of the speaker in order to achieve his or her speaking objectives. This course is designed to equip participants with the appropriate skills and tech- niques for delivering successful oral presentations.
