People in positions of leadership and management are often promoted to these positions not on the strength of their requisite capabilities, but on other reasons known to the overall leadership of the organisation. In today’s complex organisa- tions there is a need to bridge this gap by helping these individuals acquire appropriate knowledge, attitudes, skills and practices to effectively execute leadership and people management functions.
