Botswana Campus receives 130 face shield masks from citizen entrepreneur

On the 23rd November 2020, a youth-owned gift shop, Ina Lebe extended a kind hand to the Institute of Development Management and donated face shields to the Institute. The donation comes in the wake of the CoronaVirus pandemic, which has not spared any country around the world. 
Inalebe offered 130 face shields to IDM to offer as additional personal protective equipment to its frontline staff who are mainly lecturers, SHE Officers and General Assistants to adhere to the set health standards.
Under the partnership between IDM and the Ministry of Youth Sports and Culture, outperforming youth businesses are offered further training on entrepreneurial skills with IDM Centre For Entrepreneurship. Ina Lebe is a recipient of this arrangement which was mooted in 2018 under the Youth Business Expo.
LenaH Kedikaetswe, IDM Senior Consultant (Entrepreneurship & Innovation) says IDM Provides training for emerging entrepreneurs in key areas such as  market analysis, costing & pricing, purchasing & supply, records management,innovation, financial management, and managing people in business.
“We are gratified as an Institute for having contributed to their journey to grow and pleased to see Botswana’s entrepreneurs being able to identify opportunities and maximize on their potential to innovate relevant products that can assist our country to deal with the situation we find ourselves in.”
Ina Lebe specializes in engraving different types of products and offers personalized gifts. The gift shop provides a wide variety of gifts made from products made out of wood, glass, stones, ceramic, metal, acrylic and leather.
