Mpho S. Champane

Mpho S. Champane joined Botswana Campus in January 2023 as Assessment Coordinator responsible for supervising the administration and management of assessments/examinations. He previously worked as an Assessment and Examination Officer for tertiary programmes at Botswana Open University from 2017 - 2022. He also worked as a Senior Lecturer for Applied Physics at Oodi College of Applied Arts and Technology (OCAAT) from 2010 - 2017 where he facilitated applied physics learning unit specifications and assessed the acquired learning outcomes. He was a senior teacher of physics from 2000 - 2010 at Molefi Secondary School and was trained by Botswana Examinations Council (BEC) as an assessor in 2001. Mpho holds a Master in Science (soil and water conservation) Engineering from Botswana University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (BUAN) and Bachelor of Education (Physics) from University of Botswana (UB). He is trained as an Assessor and Moderator by Assessment College, South Africa. He completed several Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) on Authentic Assessment for online Learning, Introduction to Monitoring and Evaluation, Introduction to Technology - Enabled Learning, and Sustainable Development in Business offered by Commonwealth of Learning (COL).
