He is the Local Board Chairman of IDM Swaziland. He entered the civil service in 1985 and rose through the ranks in his professional field of Engineering until his appointment as Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Works and Construction in 1994.  Being the youngest Principal Secretary in government of Swaziland at the time, he served as a Board Member for the Swaziland Railway and Royal Swazi Airways. In 1996 the portfolio of the Ministry was changed to Ministry of Works and Transport and he continued to serve as the Principal Secretary.  He was later transferred to the Ministry of Public Service in 2009.  He currently serves as Board Member in a number of institutions including, University of Swaziland (UNISWA) and Eastern & Southern African Management Institute (ESAMI).  He is the longest serving Principal Secretary in the Government of Swaziland, with a service record of 32 years in the civil service. He has vast experience in management and governance.
