Tebatso is a Principal Consultant and Clinical Social Worker by training and Specialization.  Tebatso has considerable experience in HIV/AIDS Counseling, Family Counseling, Counseling the Terminally Ill, HIV/AIDS management in the areas of Home Based Care (HBC) and the care of Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC).  He is currently actively involved in the design and implementation of training programs for professionals in health management and management of HIV/AIDS, in which he also conducts research and consultancy work.  Tebatso is one of the IDM experts putting together a nationwide Local Government sponsored project dubbed “ The Family Care Model” which integrates the home based care and the orphan care program in Botswana.  He was a   member of the Botswana – Harvard Partnership for HIV Research and Education doing research in Peri-natal HIV transmission in Botswana for a couple of years.  He facilitated a module on Prevention, Treatment and Care in a Gender in HIV and AIDS Training of Trainers (TOT) course for participants from West Africa, East Africa and Southern Africa in Maseru, Lesotho jointly run by IDM and the Regional AIDS Training Network (RATN) based in Nairobi, Kenya.  Recently he attended the Management for International Public Health (MIPH) program jointly run by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Rollins School of Public Health in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Tebatso is is a Certified Trainer and Assessor with the Botswana Training Authority (BOTA).
