Professional Staff
The IDM has full-time faculty of 35 staff members covering wide variety
of areas of specialisation. The full-time faculty operates in all three
countries conducting management development training, needs assessment,
designing and conducting management courses and carrying out
consultancies for clients. IDM has also Associate Consultants in each
country whose services are used to provide expertise whenever
necessary.
Experience in Management Training and Consultancies
The IDM has wide expertise in designing and conducting a variety of
management training programmes that directly respond to the needs
of clients in all sectors of economy. The expertise of IDM's faculty is
available to local and international organisations wishing to improve
management performance. The services can be used to
- help design and improve management procedures within an organisation,
- prepare and deliver customer tailored training to organisations
managers and staff,
- conduct feasibility studies,
- do marketing research,
- provide general advice and guidance at all levels of the
organisational structure.
IDM has traditionally conducted consultancy projects in the BLS
countries but, in recent years, these services have been used throughout
the SADC region. The expertise available from the IDM is extensive,
covering a broad range of subject areas under its four departments:
