IDM LESOTHO SRC INAUGURATION

This past Friday , 25th January 2019, IDM Lesotho campus celebrated the inauguration of the institutes Student Representative Committee (SRC) for the year 2019. The event was graced with the presence of Guests including the former SRC president of Center for Accounting Studies(C.A.S) Mr Moreli Makhupane.
Speaking at the event, the Assistant Director in Quality Assurance, Mr Ntaeboso Phenduka. Phenduka thanked the outgoing SRC for the role they undertook to become a trusted body that acted as strong linkage between management and the students.
He encouraged the newly Inaugurated SRC to not only follow in their footsteps but to also have a lasting positive impact for the benefit of the institution. 
Taking over from the words of the out going President
(Mr Karabo Lerotholi), the Newly Inaugurated President (Mr Tseliso Thoso) gave a token of appreciation to students who voted and assured them that in his capacity, he hopes to run the office with utmost integrity bridging eminent gaps between students and IDM Management.
The Students then finally took oath of office under the guidance of the IDM Registrar Mme Makhosi Hlalele.
In Closing, The Country Director Dr.Rets'elisitsoe Nko emphasized that students must value with pride the opportunity granted.
" At IDM, we have a slogan that says that WE GROW GREAT MINDS therefore, it is our expectation that you become tomorrows leaders that will not only become instrumental in developing institutions but the nation as well. 
Today you are SRC president, tomorrow you will be Prime Minister of Lesotho, it is therefore our expectation that you use this platform as an opportunity to become someone of substance and integrity that we can all appreciate and use as a point of reference to other SRC members yet to come", He said.
