Faried Ja’qub Van Wyk

Mr Van Wyk is a member of IDM Botswana Local Board representing the Private Sector.  He is a renowned local entrepreneur who has made a notable contribution to private sector development for over 30 years.  He is the Managing Director of Nova (Pty) Ltd, a company that provides security guards services in Botswana.

Mr Van Wyk has previously worked for Botswana Vaccine Institute and South African Marine Corporation Limited. He actively participates in committees that seek to define the private sector’s role in various areas of the economy such as Lands, Local Development, Private Security and Manufacturing among others.
