Library Core Function
The IDM knowledge nerve centre specializes in analytical indexing services in order to anchor learning, training, research and consultancy needs of the IDM community and partners.
The library collection consists of more than 30,000 records in the bibliographic database. Access to more than 2,000 e-Journal articles is provided through full-text databases. eBooks are accessible through subscription to Myilibrary. The holdings made up of development management literature and its related disciplines include among others: print and e-resources:, Scholarly Books and Articles, Research Papers, Research Reports, Conference / Symposia Proceedings, Periodicals Literature, Multimedia and Press Clippings. The library subscribes to Emerald, EbscoHOST and MyiLibrary for online e-resources.
Holdings are accessible through IDMBCAT, the library Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) on IDM intranet. The IDMBCAT address is:
IDM faculty, staff and bona fide participants get free membership. External consultants borrow materials through their Course Directors. Visiting IDM partners are served as and when need arises.

IDM Participants are entitled to borrow two (2) items for a period of one week. However, under special circumstances and after due consultation with the borrower, the Library may recall an item before it is due for return. Borrowed materials may be renewed once only, provided they have not been reserved by another user.
All our customers are responsible for the proper use, safety and security of all the Library materials, equipment /facilities. These include among others borrowing / photocopying cards, and Library furniture. We rely on cooperation on the part of our customers.
