Entry Requirements for Admission
•The basic entry requirement is a BGCSE certificate or equivalent with passes in Maths and English, depending on the course applied for.
•For students applying to Department of Tertiary Education Financing (DTEF) for sponsorship, the requirement is a minimum COSC/BGCSE  or equivalent as set up by the relevant authority.


Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

•IDM recognises both formal and non-formal prior learning and will determine its equivalence to designated courses. RPL is done through access and credit transfer.
•On application to IDM, potential students may apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Assessment
•Progression: Entry to some courses is dependent on having passed the previous stage.

2.On submission, attach supporting documents including certified copies of certificates, transcripts, identity documents and a prescribed application fee or proof of payment for long-term programmes.
3.Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) applicants shall submit evidence of prior learning and a prescribed fee with their applications for admission where applicable.

Admissions Procedures

I have Applied to IDM. Now what?
Deadlines for Application:
•8 weeks before commencement date of long programmes
•4 weeks for executive development programmes before commencement date.
•Admission letters shall be sent out to all admitted applicants at least (six) 6 weeks prior to the commencement of the course in the case of long term programmes and two (2) weeks in the case of executive development programmes.
•Successful applicants for RPL will get an academic transcript listing the courses for which credits have been granted as a result of the RPL Assessment.
